The joint initiative, "Intelligent Matching and Performance Enhancement of Cutting Picks for Complex Geological Conditions," directly addresses the growing demand for precision-engineered tools. While Xinda Technology has extensive experience in high-abrasion hard rock and complex geological formations, we recognize that the future lies in data-driven, scientific approaches. Traditional engineering experience alone is no longer enough to meet the hyper-customized needs of modern projects.

This industry-academia collaboration leverages Central South University's profound expertise in geological engineering, artificial intelligence, and material science, combined with Xinda's vast repository of field data and engineering case studies. The core research areas include:

• AI-driven wear data modeling and predictive analysis for tungsten carbide cutting picks.

• Deep learning-based rock image recognition for rapid geological formation classification.

• Lifecycle assessment and design optimization for rock drilling components under complex working conditions.

• Carbon footprint tracking and remanufacturing analysis for end-of-life cutting picks, promoting a circular economy.
